Gevox vs GRC platforms such as Sprinto and Scrut for DPDP work
GRC platforms such as Sprinto and Scrut automate a company’s own compliance programme, with the DPDP Act as one framework beside SOC 2, ISO 27001 and others, and evidence collected from the company’s systems. Gevox is built for the adviser delivering DPDP work to many clients, with a workspace per client, DPDP documents and registers, and published prices.

Choose GRC platforms when
- The client is a technology company already running SOC 2 or ISO 27001 and wants DPDP in the same programme, with evidence pulled from its systems.
- Its own team will own compliance, without an outside adviser running the engagement.
Choose Gevox when
- You are the adviser delivering DPDP work to several clients, most of whom run no GRC platform.
- You need the DPDP documents, the statutory registers and an evidence file per client, cited to the law, at a published price.
Using both
A client on a GRC platform can keep its controls and evidence there. Its DPDP adviser can run the engagement in Gevox and hand over documents and registers that sit alongside the platform’s evidence.
Where Gevox falls short
- A newer company, with no public reviews yet.
- DPDP only: no GDPR, SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
- It is not a consent management platform: it does not collect consent or take rights requests on a client’s own website or app.
- The Notice Builder in Hindi and regional languages is not yet available.
