Gevox vs OneTrust for DPDP compliance: which does a practitioner need?
OneTrust is a global platform an organisation licenses to run its own consent, rights requests and privacy operations, priced by quote. Gevox is built for the consultant, CA firm or law firm delivering DPDP work to many clients, with one sealed workspace per client and published prices. A large client may run OneTrust while its adviser runs the engagement in Gevox.

Choose OneTrust when
- The client is a large organisation that needs consent collection at high traffic, automated rights requests across many systems, and one platform for several countries’ laws.
- Its own privacy team will run the programme day to day, with budget for an enterprise licence and implementation.
Choose Gevox when
- You are the adviser, delivering DPDP work to several clients and needing each one’s record kept apart.
- You want published prices per client, white-label deliverables (Suite and Firm), and every finding cited to the section of the Act or the rule.
Using both
They do different jobs and can sit side by side. A client may run OneTrust for consent and rights requests at scale, while its adviser uses Gevox to run the engagement: the assessment, the documents, the registers’ statutory clocks and the evidence file the client keeps.
Where Gevox falls short
- A newer company, with no public reviews yet.
- DPDP only: no GDPR, SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
- It is not a consent management platform: it does not collect consent or take rights requests on a client’s own website or app.
- The Notice Builder in Hindi and regional languages is not yet available.
Questions
Asked about OneTrust and Gevox
Is Gevox an alternative to OneTrust?
For a practitioner serving many clients, yes: Gevox is built for that job and OneTrust is not. For a large organisation running its own consent and rights requests across many systems and countries, OneTrust covers ground Gevox does not.
Does OneTrust publish its prices?
Its pricing page, read on 5 October 2026, lists packages without prices: consent management is priced on average daily visitors and privacy automation on users and privacy asset inventory, by quote.
Can a consultant use OneTrust for clients?
OneTrust works with consultancies as partners who implement OneTrust for customers. In that model each client holds its own OneTrust licence. Gevox instead gives the practitioner one account with a workspace per client.
